How Can I get scratches off my new wood dining room table with out stripping it and redoing the whole thing?

I have bought things that only stain where it was scratched, but they don’t work very well. I need a putty maybe of some sort. Thanks in Advance!
Actually there really is a better way to go. If you have only slight scratches that are not seriously deep. You can use " Clear Polyeurathane"

I’m looking for a dinner theater that isn’t "who done it" or some other cheap knock off of a dinner theater. I want an actuall theater that is set up to serve dinner not a restaraunt with a back room for theater. Anything like this in San Diego?
