Mine is when the waiter doesn’t bring the check. They may offer good service throughout the meal, but when we’re finished, bringing the check can take awhile. Maybe it’s because they’re done actually serving your table and are more focused on other tables by then.
When your food is not prepared as ordered (steaks especially, or something not subtracted as requested, etc.) - my favorite steak place has done an awesome job of remedying the situation when my steak is too done for my liking, other places really don’t seem to care. Also, lengthy delays between either being seated and someone arriving to take your order or ordering and the arrival of the food (like when you have been seated and several people have been seated since, ordered their food, received it, ate it, paid their bill and left and you’re still waiting for a server).
Another thing…this just happened Saturday afternoon…my boyfriend and I went to an Applebee’s and were seated on the other side of a partition from a group of people. What happened to partititions? We felt like we were eating with them and could not help but eavesdrop on their conversation, etc.

I agree with the guy above lol…when the waiter asks if everything is ok when your mouth is full. Also when people bring their loud obnoxious children to restaurants. Makes you wonder why some people are even allowed to conceive doesnt it?

the lack of bill at the end is pretty annoying. i ate out once and they just wouldnt bring my drink over! i asked 3 times then at the end i was like can i please have my bill and my drink and they still only bought the bill. i couldnt beleive it. no tip for them!

When they have a bunch of specials that aren’t on the menu and the waiter/tress tells you them and you can’t possibly remember them and you don’t even know the price.

Mine is the opposite…waiter hovering. Hanging around my table and chatting when I am trying to have a conversation with the people I am dining with. Another is "backhanding"; almost whacking me in the head with an arm or elbow when they are setting a plate down or clearing!

Requesting Non smoking & being seated on the edge on the non smoking section or poorly vented non smoking sections. Families with SCREAMING kids. People with cellphones who are not discreet with their conversation.

When the waitress is overly friendly, like she wants to stand their and have a conversation. It’s almost like they are whoring for a good tip.
