my pet peeve is bad food.

i don't care about how bad or slow the service is, as long as the food is good and tasty.
References :
People who talk loudly on their mobile phones when I'm trying to have a quiet, relaxing night out.

Uncontrollable kids, for goodness sake, either hire a babysitter or give them something to do!

Hovering waitstaff, when I need help, I'll ask, in the mean time please go and do other stuff so I can enjoy my meal in peace
References :
1.When you find hair in your food
2.The waiter wont leave you alone, they keep on asking if everything is alright because they are so worried about getting a tip$$$$$$$
3.The food you ordered is not right
4.Hot foods cold and Cold food warm
Needless to say I dont eat out much, I would rather cook it myself I know what I am eating that way and it is much healthier!
References :
Mine is the opposite...waiter hovering. Hanging around my table and chatting when I am trying to have a conversation with the people I am dining with. Another is "backhanding"; almost whacking me in the head with an arm or elbow when they are setting a plate down or clearing!
References :
When your food is not prepared as ordered (steaks especially, or something not subtracted as requested, etc.) - my favorite steak place has done an awesome job of remedying the situation when my steak is too done for my liking, other places really don't seem to care. Also, lengthy delays between either being seated and someone arriving to take your order or ordering and the arrival of the food (like when you have been seated and several people have been seated since, ordered their food, received it, ate it, paid their bill and left and you're still waiting for a server).

Another thing...this just happened Saturday afternoon...my boyfriend and I went to an Applebee's and were seated on the other side of a partition from a group of people. What happened to partititions? We felt like we were eating with them and could not help but eavesdrop on their conversation, etc.
