I think you need to judge a restaurant by a few things, not just the cooks look. I've never encountered that problem in the thousands of meals where I've eaten out. Most restaurant employees usually bend over backwards in service to customers that aren't too busy to look for that which is good. Your quality of food is not based on whether the cook likes you or not. It is based on his skill as a chef.
