(1) Study grammar and composition.
(2) Study the subject of "critical thinking"
(3) Become knowledgeable (as opposed to opinionated) in the subjects that interest you.
(4) Maintain a blog that you work on EVERY day … no days off.
(5) Consider the words of your critics as carefully as those of your fans.
(6) Develop patience with people who do not appreciate or understand you.
(7) Think more about making the world a better place than getting famous.
