We are flying transatlantic with our 32 month-old son. During the day, so not much hope of him sleeping other than maybe an hour-long power nap… Grateful for tips please! Already have some books, fave teddy, mummy’s laptop to play DVDs on… Thanks.
Dont give him any juice with E numbers during the flight and limit sugary stuff as its going to keep him excited. You could also take a doodle with you. DVDs on laptop will certainly help. Colouring books that crayola do (colour wonder?) were popular with my 2 very boisterous boys when they were toddlers! Dont take out new toys, activities etc till he gets a bit restless or bored otherwise you would have used all your options half way! Good luck!
If you have wi-fi access try http://www.kneebouncers.com my daughter loves playing on my laptop - i think you can download as well if you can’t access.
Does he like drawing - you can get a whiteboard type game and use that.
Try getting the window seat so he can look out of it.
Good luck
