Just a couple …
Just a couple points… when you clamp down your two pieces I tend to use a scrap block where the clamp and the project connects… stops any marking and you can really tighten down the project then. Next when sanding down the dado ‘burrs’ I would use a ’sticky’ pad on a block and sand the blow out directly. The problem I have found with your ’sanding with the grain’ technique is that if the project is being stained you have to be careful that you don’t oversand that area so the stain applies

If they make square router bits, you wouldn’t get to use that nice set of chisels.

You know its not too bad for projects that won’ be stressed much. But ultimately, I like some wood to be in the mix whenever possible.

Yeah the MDF core was all I could find at the time. I dont usually use it. Very little in the way of fasteners at all on this one.

It’s great to see a new project series. Is that an MDF core that I saw? I’ve passed that kind of sheet goods up in favor of a more “conventional” ply. I’m curious to see how it holds up and what kind of fasteners you’ll use.
