To be realistic: …
To be realistic: people don’t normally fly backwards when hit with something, getting knocked down is possible, but not flying backwards.
Also, you can’t compare enemies between this game and Zelda or Super Mario Bros: Those games take place in fantasy worlds where weird enemies are not only possible but expected; this game is supposed to take place in the real world. The last time I checked, there were no weird bipedal fire creatures walking around.

The only way to pass the rooftop crap is with Leonardo. If he died, then I’m sorry: You’re ed. You got to start the WHOLE GAME AGAIN. >:( I know since those bats or whatever were flying at me when i was jumping from building to building, you got to get Leonardo and just as your about to hit the bat hit the attack button! Don’t go Donatello cause then your surely attack will be too late, you will get pushed back and fall.

The place when the game gets really hard is underwater level, then you are in a Turtlemobile and it’s like a maze, but I went everywhere around and I found a bridge to get through. Then you kill some really weird enemies, even robots, which is probably the easiest part of the game… later on the rooftop level… , I got to agree with you man… THE GAME GETS HORRENDOUS!!!

The only reason people hate it is because they played games like Zelda or Super Mario Bros. way too much and can’t get used to a little lower gravity when the turtle jumps, how you fall back when you get hit by something powerful (come on they are just trying to be realistic! you would also fly back if you would get kicked very hard by someone…)
And yes the enemys are totally weird, but come on, if you play Zelda for NES you will see the enemies are also weird there!

Dude, you may think it’s the worst game ever, but I think it’s an underrated classic. The only really hard and ing annoying parts of the game is the underwater level (it took me MONTHS to finally beat it) and the rooftop level (and I still can’t beat it lol). And I don’t care how enemys look as long as the game is fun.

The only things I hate about this game is:
- There is no Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song ANYWHERE in the game
- You are fighting enemies that are completely not from the show or comics. Like, purple butterflies, moving eyeballs, firemen, WTF?!
- Pretty hard. But I think without it the game wouldn’t be good. It’s one of those games where it HAS to be hard, or it’s not good at all.
