My hubby and I are moving to a new town. Since we will be on a stricter budget there I was wondering if anyone has some good tips on how to entertain on a budget. We are in our mid 20’s and DON’T DRINK. We’ll obviously need to make new friends and would like to entertain out of our home. any tips or advice would be helpful! Thanks.
Invite a few people believe it or not people would come. Center it around sports especially with football season and the Baseball playoffs. You don’t necessarily have to drink just ask people to bring their own booze. Maybe have a case or two and maybe a bottle of rum or something. Good luck…

Try a potluck at a park first, where people bring their own food, but you still get to meet everyone. After you have found some friends pick different nights of a month that you want to spend the evening entertaining, and rotate houses. That way you get to see the people you like, but you don’t always have to be the one hosting.
